Medical Surveillance Technician
Duties and
Responsibilities: Conducts pre-placement physical, annual medical surveillance,
first response to on site medical emergencies and pre-employment and random
exam drug screening. Performs second portion of physical exams in compliance
with established company standards and in conjunction with independent contract
physicians, to include employee medical history, employee vital signs, visual
acuity, hearing baseline, pulmonary function testing, EKG, blood baselines and
drug testing.
Salary: $32,291
Education: Associates
Degree and 2 years related experience or High school diploma or GED and 5 years
related experience.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t want to be a Medical Surveillance Technician because it would
be a lot of years I would have to take to have this career.
