Auricular Therapy
Duties and Responsibilities: Auricular therapy is a healing practice dating back to the third century wherein the practitioner uses needles at acupuncture points on the outer ear that correspond to specific parts of the human body. This technique is a particularly effective treatment for many conditions, including addictions, mood disorders, obesity, pain, and musculo-skeletal and central nervous system disorders.
Salary: $38,000-$137,000
Education: to become an acupuncture technician, you will need to participate in a program certified by the National Acupuncture Detoxification (NADA). In a NADA program, you will take 30-hour didactic course and spend 40 hours practicing your skills in a clinic.

Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be an auricular therapy because I think it is a lot of school and honestly I really don’t like school so much. Also, I wouldn’t want to work with ears it is very not something I would want to do.
