Duties and responsibilities: works under the direction of the director of communications or dispatch supervisor. Works in conjunction with the ambulance director of operations, supervisor or crew chief. Assist with answering emergency and non-emergency phone calls. Coordinate all ambulance transports and emergencies. Must portray a positive, courteous, professional and helpful image at all time.

Education: according to the U.S bureau of labor statistics, most ambulance dispatchers have at least have to have a high school diploma. Some states have developed or adopted training guidelines for emergency and ambulance dispatcher to ensure a set of uniform standards are followed.

Reflection: I think I would want to be an ambulance dispatcher because it is cool what they do to help people all over their community. Also, because I would like to help all the people that I can.
