Duties and
Responsibilities: Registered Dietitian’s collaborates with providers to
identify and correct with patients in need of nutrition counseling. Establishes
treatment plans and communicates with patients regarding program compliance. Meets
directly with patients to identify educational needs provide individual
instruction, utilize informational handouts/booklets, or refer to community
resources as needed.
Salary:
$77,590
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics. Registered Dietitian credential
requires 1,200 hours of supervised experience and passing an exam.
Reflection:
I would like to be a registered dietitian because it’s a very nice job you help
others and you get to help others with their needs if you can, you meet
directly with them, and you get to counsel their nutrition.
