Allergist / Immunologist
Duties and Responsibilities: present research finding at
notional meeting or in peer -reviewed journals. Engaged in self-directed
learning and continuing education activities. Document patients’ medical
histories. Conduct laboratory or clinical research on allergy or immunology
topics. Provide allergy or immunology consultation or education physicians or
other health care providers. Prescribe medication such as antihistamines,
antibiotics, and nasal, topical, or inhaled glucocorticosteroids.
Salary; $207,270
Education: as physicians, immunologists must undergo
rigorous training that includes a bachelor’s degree, medical degree, residency
and fellowship. To treat patients, immunologist must be lincesed; they may also

Reflection: I would not like to be an allergist because it’s
a lot of school.
